Clinic Online is an Australian telehealth service connecting patients with AHPRA-registered Australian GPs for on-demand video and phone consultations, 7am to 10pm, 365 days a year. We provide e-prescriptions, medical certificates, and specialist, pathology and radiology referrals during the consult — usable at any Australian pharmacy, pathology lab, radiology clinic or specialist.

We started Clinic Online because too much of what passes for "telehealth" in Australia has been reduced to a form to fill out and a script posted out a few days later. That is not how good medicine works. Good medicine is a conversation with a doctor who listens, takes a history, and makes a clinical decision with you. We built Clinic Online to make that experience available on demand — without subscriptions, without questionnaire-based prescribing, and without the waiting rooms.

Clinic Online is operated by Waterlake Pty Ltd, an Australian company. Our service is registered with LegitScript and complies with AHPRA advertising and telehealth guidelines.

What makes Clinic Online different

We deliberately designed this service to look nothing like a subscription telehealth app. Here is what changes when a real Australian GP is on the other end of your consult.

Real, registered Australian clinicians

Every consultation is delivered by a fully AHPRA-registered Australian doctor who practises the same evidence-based medicine you would receive in person. No scripts from an algorithm, no form-based "assessments".

Transparent pricing

One flat fee — $45 for consultations up to 10 minutes, $59 beyond 10 minutes — with every prescription, certificate and referral issued during the consult included in the price. No subscriptions, no hidden add-ons.

Real consultation, not a questionnaire

You speak with a doctor by secure video or phone. Your clinician takes a full history, asks questions, examines you where possible, and only prescribes when it is clinically appropriate.

Privacy & medical-record safety

Consultations, prescriptions and referrals are stored securely and accessible only to you and your treating clinician. We comply with Australian privacy law and clinical record-keeping standards.

Our clinical standards

Every consultation on Clinic Online is governed by the same regulatory and clinical-safety framework that applies to any registered Australian medical practice. These are the independent standards we are measured against — not just promises.

AHPRA-registered clinicians only

Every doctor who consults with you through Clinic Online holds current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Their registration is publicly verifiable on the AHPRA register.

RACGP-aligned telehealth practice

We follow the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners' standards for telehealth consultations — covering triage, consultation length, record-keeping, safe prescribing, and when to refer a patient for in-person care.

LegitScript-certified service

Clinic Online is certified by LegitScript, an independent program used by Google, Microsoft and major payment providers to verify that online healthcare services operate legally and safely.

Australian Privacy Principles compliant

Your consultation notes, prescriptions and referrals are protected under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Records are accessible only to you and your treating clinician.

Clinic Online works with a panel of AHPRA-registered Australian GPs. Every clinician on the panel is required to maintain current AHPRA registration, professional indemnity insurance, and adherence to RACGP telehealth standards — the same benchmarks that apply to any in-person general practice in Australia.
